Quavo is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, music video director, and record producer from Athens, Georgia.

He is best known as the frontman of the now-defunct hip-hop group Migos. Formed with his nephew Takeoff and their mutual friend Offset in 2008, the group released four commercially successful studio albums until their disbandment in 2023.

Quavo is best known for being a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Offset and the late Takeoff. With Migos he has released four studio albums; “Yung Rich Nation” (2015), “Culture” (2017), “Culture II” (2018) and “Culture III” (2021).

Outside of Migos, Quavo has been featured on several Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits, including Post Malone’s “Congratulations”—which was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)—as well as DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer” and “I’m the One”, the latter of which peaked atop the chart. In 2018, he released his debut solo album Quavo Huncho, which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. His second album, Rocket Power (2023) was released in memory of Takeoff.

He has appeared as himself on several television shows, including “Atlanta” (2016), “Star” (2018), “Black-ish” (2019), “Ballers” (2019), and “Narcos: Mexico” (2020), and in March 2018, Migos performed on “Saturday Night Live.” Quavo has directed numerous music videos for his solo work as well as Migos, such as “On a Mission” (2016), “MotorSport” (2017), and “How Bout That?” (2018).
