Soldiers killed: Defence Ministry vows to arrest criminals in Okuama

The Ministers expressed their condolences to the families of the slain soldiers and promised to bring those responsible to justice. They also commended the bravery and dedication of the military personnel in carrying out their duties to protect the citizens of Nigeria. The Ministers reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its citizens and called on the public to provide any information that can help in the investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators.


The Ministers emphasized the need for swift and decisive action to bring the perpetrators of the ambush at Okuama community to justice. They expressed deep sorrow for the tragic loss of the Commanding Officer 181 Amphibious Battalion Lieutenant-Colonel A.H Ali, two Majors, a Captain, and 12 soldiers, as well as a civilian. The incident serves as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices made by our military personnel in protecting our country.
