Nnamdi Kanu’s family has spoken concerning his failing health

The family of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, has demanded to know who gains from the allegedly enormous N800 million that the Federal Government during his legal representation each time he appears in court.

This comes as the family has expressed new worries about the IPOB’s deteriorating health and stated that immediate medical attention is required to prevent a serious health emergency.
In an interview with reporters on Saturday afternoon, the family’s spokesperson, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, stated ” They had learned that the Federal Government had to pay N800 million every time Nnamdi Kanu was brought to court“.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has finally turned into a money-making scheme for a few dishonest people in authority.”
It has been reported that the government expends N800 million every time he appears in court. Next, we would like to know who will benefit from the aforementioned funds.
The government ought to declare to the public who gets and spends the money.
We worry that if it’s true that a staggering sum of money was used to bring him to court each time he is scheduled to appear, it might be hard to get him released on bond anytime soon because the group that stands to gain financially from his prolonged detention might not be willing to give up their oil well.
The family, who recently chastised the Igbo political elite for supposedly forsaking their son, expressed grave concerns regarding his state of health.
We learned this morning that he is seriously ill. He desperately needs a cardiologist, but he has not been allowed to see his doctors. His demise in DSS custody is unacceptable.
The IPOB leader, who it claimed was “unjustly held for demanding the freedom of his Biafra people,” was once again appealing to the international community to pressure Nigeria to free him.
Since his kidnapping and unusual rendition from Kenya on June 21, Kanu has been held in isolation at the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters in Abuja.
