Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ) declares Simon Ekpa and 96 others wanted for terrorism

Today’s news: Simon Ekpa and 96 other people are listed as wanted for terrorism by the Nigerian Defense Headquarters (DHQ) of secession against the federal government on Friday.

The factional leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, Simon Ekpa, is prominent among those sought.
On Friday night, Major Gen. Edwaed Buba, Director of Defense Media Operations, verified the identities and images of those who had been declared wanted in Abuja.
The North East, North West, North Central, and South East zones are homes of these wanted individuals, terrorists/bandits, and insurgent commanders.
According to a breakdown of those wanted, 43 people were listed as wanted in the North West Zone, which is home to several bandits and kidnapping incidents.
Alhaji Shingi; Malindi Yakubu; Boka; Dogo Gide; Halilu Sububu; Ado Aliero; Bello Turji; Dan Bokkolo; Labi Yadi; Nagala; Saidu Idris; Kachalla Rugga and Sani Gurgu are a few leaders of bandits and terrorists.
33 people were listed as wanted in the Northeast, which is wracked by terrorists from Boko Haram and the Islamic State for West Africa Province.
Abu Zaida; Modu Sulum; Baba Data; Ahmad; Sani Teacher; Baa Sadiq; Abdul Saad; Kaka Abi; Mohammad Khalifa; Umar Tella; Abu Mutahid; Mallam Mohammad; Mallam Tahiru Baga; Uzaiya and Ali Ngule are terrorist leaders among them.
Violent criminals and insurgents/militants were listed as wanted in the North Central and South East 21 regions.
They include Flavour, Mathew, David Ndubuisi, High Chief Williams Agbor, Ebuka Nwaka, Friday Ojimka, Chika Edoziem, Egede, Zuma, ThankGod Gentle, and Simon Ekpa, the leader of the faction-leading IPOB.
Others in the Southeast: Amobi Chinonso Okafor, also known as Temple, David Ezekwem Chidiebube, and Obiemesi Chukwudi, also known as Dan Chuk.
