E-tags are being sold at airports by FAAN.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) started selling 2024 e-tags on Friday, which would allow travelers to enter any of the country’s 24 federal airports.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved a presidential directive, according to a statement released by FAAN to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, on the sale of the tags.
It said that all users of federal airports nationwide were required to pay fees at the gates by the meeting’s directive.
NAN was informed by Mr. Francis Ajaguna, Head of Public Affairs at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), that a large number of persons visited the airport and purchased the tags.
”FAAN’s Commercial Department confirms that it has started issuing the e-tags and people are buying them,” he said. (NAN)
